Nordic Terrain
NoRain is based in Copenhagen, so we are well acquainted with the harsh Scandinavian weather conditions.
Cycling is a hallmark of Denmark and we want to promote it further, as cycling has positive health and environmental benefits. Therefore, we strive to offer you a dry and a bit better cycling experience with the hope of encouraging you to choose the bike more often, so that together we can cycle towards a greener future.
We are currently implementing sustainable initiatives in our design and production, including the use of recycled materials in our production.
Our story
NoRain was founded in 2009 by the Danish designer Joe Anderson. He is an biking enthusiast and has been for most of his life. Like every other cyclist in Denmark, Joe has had to endure countless rainy days with soaked clothes, but one day he had enough. Joe started working on designing a poncho specifically designed for bicycles, where ease of use and functionality was its focus. It has been a long journey, but we’re satisfied to say, that we’ve come a long way. However, the design process is a difficult and iterative process, meaning we continuously experiment and optimize our ponchos.
