Discovering Some Of Copenhagen's Scenic Bike Routes
Living in Copenhagen is a blessing for cyclists. There are bicycle paths everywhere you look, so why not hop on your bike and explore Copenhagen's charming neighborhoods and surrounding landscapes? The team here at NoRain, have found three scenic routes, which we all enjoy and we’ll keep more coming to give you inspiration where to go next!
Route #1: Kalvebod Fælled
Escape the urban jungle and immerse yourself in the beauty of Kalvebod Fælled. This route offers peaceful stretches of asphalt, with breathtaking views of the sea, horses grazing in the fields, and the iconic VM-houses architecture. Start your journey by crossing Sjællandsbroen and heading towards Fiskerihavnen. Follow the path along the water, enjoying the scenery of Kalveboderne. As you enter Kalvebod Fælled, make your way towards the VM-husene. Afterward, take a detour south towards Natosøen or Hejresø, where you can even take a dip in the sea before heading back to the city, what a great ride.

Route #2: Bryggen, Sydhavnen, and Valbyparken
For a more urban adventure, explore the bustling harbours of Bryggen and Sydhavnen. Start by crossing the bike bridge from Fisketorvet to Islands Brygge, then follow the path along the harbor. Pass through H/F Nokken and H/F Lille Nok, and take a moment to admire the modern apartments of Sluseholmen. Continue your journey towards Sydhavnsgade, then turn left onto Bådehavnsgade for a glimpse of the quaint harbor community. Afterwards, make your way through Valbyparken, enjoying the scenic views of the water before returning to the city.

Route #3: Nørrebro, Bispebjerg, and Utterslev Mose
Embark on a journey from the heart of the city to the peaceful surroundings of Utterslev Mose. Begin your ride at Den Grønne Sti in Nørrebroparken, then follow the path towards Bispebjerg Station. Cruise through Bispebjerg Park and enjoy the views of Bispebjerg Hospital, continue along Tuborgvej until you reach Utterslev Mose, where you can explore the vast wetlands as you please. For a shorter ride, you can head back towards the city via Maglegårds Allé or Hareskovvej, with optional stops at Bisbebjerg Kirkegård and Grundtvigskirke along the way.
